The Problem of Business English Learning Material Selection

The article draws attention of the readership to the changes which have been observed in compiling educational books in Business English in terms of the text material. In particular, the latest educational Business English books, unfortunately, are no longer based on articles from quality newspapers/periodicals such as The Economist or The Financial Times, the text material from which suggested professional, valuable and trust-worthy analysis of the current economic trends. The article enumerates possible facts related to the problem. The concurrent problem of valuable, quality authentic text material for abundant professional reading in Business English is experienced by our lecturers. Stipulated by geopolitical preferences, traditional economic realm acquires new terminology which leads to the so called fake economics.
