Abstract

The article considers an active lifestyle impact on the development of the sport food market both in Russia and abroad, international and national key manufacturers of sports nutrition products represented on the Russian market as well as the factors affecting the development of the world sport food market and the prospects of its development, such as: an increased number of health clubs and fitness centers, urbanization, the growing number of common consumers using sport food, disposable income growth in developing countries; main problems of the Russian market development; prices for key sport food items in various cities of the world as well as the main trends and prospects for the development of the world and domestic sport food market.
