Abstract

This article discusses the development of electronic commerce in international practice. There are given examples of the experience of states and international companies. The trends of electronic commerce are analyzed, such as the growth of e-commerce platforms, improvement of the cybersecurity system in enterprises and the use of cryptocurrency in international competitive bidding. The main trends of e-commerce in the activities of international retail companies are presented. There are noted examples and experience of countries actively developing the e-commerce industry. This article also reflects the current realities of the development of e-commerce in Russia.
