Foreign trade of China with African countries

The article analyzes China’s foreign trade with the countries of the African continent. The experience of China in its investment policy, including the aspect of foreign trade, focused on the countries of Africa is considered. The first part lists the economic, political and social risks of China’s economic cooperation with the African countries. The second part is devoted to the issue of trade and economic cooperation between China and Africa. Various examples of interaction between the two sides are described, including the spheres of trade, infrastructure projects, raw materials cooperation. The structure of Chinese exports to Africa is given. The military presence of the PRC on the African continent, in particular the naval base in Djibouti, is described. The concluding part gives an overview of the energy interaction between China and Africa. The latest figures on the explored deposits of oil and natural gas in African countries are presented. Suggestions for establishing closer contacts between Moscow and African countries are given.
