Abstract

The paper looks into the essence of intra-industry trade in processing industries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) as a tool to deepen the Eurasian integration. The research has revealed tangible progress in developing intra-industry trade in chemical industry and manufacturing of the EAEU in 2011-2016 given its lasting resource-oriented economy. Overall, common industrial policy of the EAEU may foster further development of intra-industry trade in question by breeding up industrial value chains in promising manufacturing industries of the EAEU.
