Abstract

The article gives an overview of international exams. The author underlines that nowadays obtaining an international qualification is a competitive edge on the labour market, especially if a person intends to join a foreign company. Besides, it might help to enter educational institutions abroad. The article describes in detail some international examinations in Business English, which might be of interest to the students of the Academy of Foreign Trade, as they provide competitive edge among applicants to major international companies thanks to their versatility and recognition.
