The global market for Islamic insurance

Abstract

This article deals with the analysis of the current situation and main trends in the development of the world Islamic insurance market. The authors consider the features of this type of insurance and make a comparison with classic insurance. Particular attention is paid to the development of Islamic insurance in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union given the project of creating a single insurance market. Recommendations on unification of the rules of the insurance legislation and the development of systems of national security, which will be the basis of the process of convergence of the insurance markets and will accelerate the solution of the problem of harmonization of insurance systems EAEC member states, are given.
