Abstract

In the article the author emphasizes the importance of constant improvement of methodological and professional competences of high school teachers. High school teachers should be active, conscious, creative and ready for innovations. This target can be reached by solving two tasks simultaneously: teachers’ readiness to accept new techniques and skills and then implement them during teaching process. So it’s vital to provide the high school teacher with regular training at the postgraduate stage of their career.
