The author of article considers features of innovative activity of enterprise structures in world economy and pays special attention to types of innovative activity. It reveals a high role of results of innovative activity on achievement and strengthening of competitiveness of the companies in market rivalry, shows as organizational forms of the innovative activity change, what changes happen in strategy of conducting commercial operations in the market, in development of business models. The analysis is kept on the basis of consideration of practice of the companies operating both in industrially developed, and in the developing states.
