Abstract

Globalization and economic growth through the eyes of a European economist In the article, the authors consider economic concepts of globalization and economic growth in the world economy, developed by the Polish economist and statesman G.V. Kolodko. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of specific features of globalization at the present stage of its development and the peculiarity of its manifestations in the individual groups of countries in the global economy, as well as the contradictions in national and international regulation of globalization by government authorities. The authors analyze "the set of circumstances" theory, proposed by G. Kolodko, especially with its influence on the economic growth in the individual groups of countries.
