Abstract

The article considers development trends in the world and inbound tourism in Russia, elaboration and realization of regional tourism development programs, and the problem of construction of new hotels, in particular family hotels. The author stresses the need to expand the use of innovative solutions for tourism industry development, the essential role of publicity activity, and emphasizes the importance of state support for the tourism industry promoting foreign exchange inflows to the country.
