Abstract

The European Union is currently experiencing an unprecedented energy crisis. Electricity prices have soared and tend to increase further. This situation creates certain risks for the stability and integrity of the European economy. Given the onset of winter, the livelihoods of households and the operations of businesses are threatened by the lack of electricity for heating. This article examines the causes of the energy crisis, reviews the current state of the electricity market, and analyzes measures to solve the problems with electricity in the European Union.
