Organizing IT-Equipment Imports into Russia under Sanctions

Abstract

This article examines the specific features of organizing IT equipment imports into Russia under sanctions. Particular attention is paid to the transformation of supply chains, and the growing role of parallel imports. The importance of IT equipment for ensuring digital sovereignty is analyzed. The key constraints, including sanctions, export controls, contractual limitations, and logistical challenges are considered. It is concluded that a transition to a new import model requiring supply diversification and effective risk management is imperative.
