Abstract

This article proposes a model for justifying the economic efficiency of export intermodal transportation for shipments from Russia to China. Additionally, an optimization model is also introduced to assess the impact of key factors – such as the implementation of electronic document management, increased railway capacity due to infrastructure development, and enhanced transport planning optimization – on the profitability of the logistics services market. These models are based on the research by Peng Z., Wang H., and Wang W., further refined to take account for the specifics of the export container intermodal transportation market from Russia to China.
