At present within the framework of Russia’s government programs certain measures are being taken to develop exports of goods, including chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic products, pesticides, etc. These types of goods should be tested for safety that they are not harmful to human health and the environment. The OECD proposes to implement the system of mutual acceptance of non-clinical laboratory test results (Mutual Acceptance of Data, MAD), which allows the exchange of the results of various preclinical tests on chemicals based on standards of good laboratory practices. The system will simplify international trade procedures, reduce technical barriers, ensure consistency of standards at the international level, especially standards for environmental protection, quality assurance and control.
