Abstract

Germany is one of the world leading investors and its companies conduct active foreign economic operations on the Russian market. In this article, the latest statistical data and new projects implemented by German firms are considered. The authors analyze the areas of German investment projects in Russia, noting the negative impact of anti-Russian sanctions. On the basis of statistical and analytical indicators characterizing the levels of investment, the summarized findings and conclusions about the state and possible prospects for trade and economic relations between the two countries are presented.
