Abstract

The article analyzes of the major trends in the world furniture market development. The main attention is given to the changes in production capacities’ allocation, the structural changes in international trade and to the furniture design. Th e author reveals Russia's position on the global furniture market and assesses the prospects of the Russian furniture market in view of Russia's accession to the WTO.
