Comparative analysis of Russian and Belarusian insurance markets

Abstract

This article describes the current insurance market of the Republic of Belarus and Russia. Belarusian insurance market is characterized by the growth of activity levels, competition and attention of international insurers to the situation on the market taking into account integration processes between Russia and Belarus. The author compares some of the key indicators to the ones of the Russian insurance market and analyzes their infl uence on the possibility of creation of uniform insurance space between two countries.
