National corporate governance system in Russia under global competition

Abstract

The article considers starting conditions of Russia’s entry into essentially new era of economic development owing to its accession to the World Trade Organization, which is characterized mainly by sharp increase in openness of the national economy and exposure of corporate systems to external factors of global economy. It is grounded that Russia isn't ready enough to compete in global markets under speculative fi nancial turbo-capitalism from which it is necessary to make a fundamental turn toward productive capitalism on the basis of strengthening positions of the state in the economy, that is restoring its key resource of an economic subjectivity. It is offered to take special measures in the sphere of economic policy for protection of national economy against influence of global currency, credit, market fluctuations and other crisis shocks using key instruments of streamlined transformation of Russian corporate system.
