Abstract

In the article, various forms of leasing are considered as instruments for supporting manufacturing industries of the Russian economy. The author pays special attention to complex multi-stage lease transactions as promising co-operation forms with foreign counterparts suppliers of equipment. The author suggests that Russian enterprises engaged in foreign trade and investment should choose such forms and methods of cooperation where foreign partner’s targets and motivation on major issues, including pricing, are similar to those of Russian firms. The author proposes to establish a special anti-crisis buffer fund for providing direct state-syndicated lease finance of capital investment into vital industries of the Russian economy via multi-stage lease transactions.
