Mergers on the market for meat processing equipment

Abstract

Meat processing industry is currently one of the most promising sectors of agro-industrial complex of the Russian economy. Under the present conditions, the development of this sector highly depends on imported equipment with some specific features in its production. The specifics of meat processing equipment production have undergone some structural changes in recent years. The article deals with the main structural shifts in the development of modern market for meat processing equipment, as well as prospects for the equipment imports to Russia under escalation of political tensions in the world.
