Abstract

The article deals with the changes in international trade in textiles in current conditions. The direction of changes in international trade in textiles is examined. It is revealed that the current stage of globalization and regionalization has a great impact on international trade in textiles. The factors infl uencing changes in international textile trade under transformation of the global production system and global value chains are studied. The growing importance of Asian countries, particularly China, India and Vietnam, is highlighted. Factors influencing the patterns and areas of foreign trade in textiles are studied.
