Abstract

The article provides an overview of trade and economic relations between Russia and France in the period from 2012- 2014 and highlights the main fields of bilateral cooperation. The dynamics of trade and economic statistics for the period of 2012-2014 is analyzed. Besides, the article reviews Russian-French high-priority joint investment projects. Two main negative trends in economic relations of the two countries are underlined and the effects of these two trends are considered. On the grounds of the analysis, the authors draw conclusions in respect of the prospects for development of trade and economic relations between Russia and France.
