Abstract

The African market is very appealing for many countries, including Russia. Russia has key partners in the region such as Algeria, Egypt, South Africa, Morocco and Nigeria. The high-demand goods are oil products and wheat. The article examines several aspects and forecasts that may affect the prospects for trade between Russia and African countries. Despite the export prospects to African countries, businesses face various barriers: customs, regulatory, logistical, financial, political, cultural and linguistic.
