Abstract

The article deals with the reasons that account for the rapid growth of regional trade agreements in the recent years, with the agreements occasionally being established between transcontinental countries. The attention is given to the beginning of formation of the Trans-Pacific, Transatlantic and Asiatic trade superblocks. The author attempts to give a preliminary estimate of the possible influence of the emergence of such superblocks on the Russian exports.
