Abstract

The article presents the main contents of the speeches of the participants in the VIII Convention of the Russian International Studies Association “on Sustainable development of the world economy and Russia's competitiveness” and reveals economic, environmental and social issues, which require addressing in order to ensure sustainable development of the world economy. The author analyzes the major challenges to enhancing competitiveness of the Russian economy and strengthening of its international positions.
