Abstract

The article analyzes the experience of national exports support system in Germany, a recognized world leader in the supply of goods and services onto international markets. The author studies the position of the country in global trade and evaluates the importance of foreign trade and exports for Germany as well as the degree of «openness» of its economy. State export support system of Germany is the object of the research. The basic directions and key infrastructure elements of the state export support system, especially support for export-oriented SMEs are described. Particular attention is paid to the specific services provided to German exporters abroad. Based on these data, the author offers ways to adopt the German experience taking into account the bottlenecks in the current export support system in Russia.
