Russia in international capital flows: some institutional aspects

The article studies the model of Russia’s participation in international movement of private capital that has taken place in recent years. Speaking about disadvantages of this model, the author proves that the government is able and should use specific measures aimed at regulating crossborder capital flows. Special attention is paid to institutional changes carried out to improve business and investment climate in Russia. Some directions and instruments to perfect this process are shown.
