US in world trade in financial services: recent trends and cooperation with Russia

Abstract

The article analyzes the dynamics and structure of U.S. trade in fi nancial services through two main delivery channels: cross-border trade and commercial presence of American bank affi liates abroad. Special attention is paid to the description of the main trends of trade in fi nancial services between U.S. and Russia. A number of factors having impact on the development of trade relations
between U.S. and Russia in the fi nancial sphere aft er Russia’s accession to the WTO are listed in the article.
