Abstract

The article analyzes the provisions of the Treaty on Eurasian Economic Union with a view to estimating the quality of its structure and content, its effectiveness as a tool of integration in the post-soviet space, revealing the problem areas and elaborating recommendation aiming to improve legal and institutional development of the Union. The authors outline the main novels of the Treaty and research the scope of codification of the existing international treaties. The authors conclude that creation of the EAEU marked a new stage in economic integration in the postsoviet space: comprehensive, multilateral and systemic regulation. A basis for enlargement of the regulatory scope of the ‘EAEU system’ as one of the centers of power in a multipolar world has been established.
