Abstract

Review of the present day Russian-Indian trade and economic relations is given in the article. The trend of Russian-Indian trade turnover in recent seven years, the goods structures of Russian exports to India and imports from India are also exposed in the article. The authors reveal peculiarities of tariff and non-tariff barriers by means of which Russian-Indian trade is regulated and compare in particular the rates of import duties and antidumping measures used by both countries. The ways of trade economic relations improvement taking into account cooperation of Russian and Indian customs administrations are characterized in the article as well.
