Abstract

The article reviews the current changes in the world market of energy resources against the background of US (and OPEC) destructive interference in the global economic order, and also analyzes the indicators (incl. the fall in oil prices) and the recent contradictory trends in the world energy set-up. The general strive for diversification of supplies of fuels is shown, as well as the growing share of petroleum products and of LNG in the global fuel trade is noted. Russia’s efforts to widen the transition range for its gas exports to European countries is also mentioned. The general trends in the world trade in main fuels are also analyzed.
