Abstract

The 20th Congress of the Communist Party of China ended in late October 2022, where a new composition of the Central Committee was elected, and amendments were made to the party charter. In the era of Xi Jinping, the CCP congress turned the country towards the concentration of power in the top leader’s hands, the predominance of the party over the state, economy, and society. The meeting of the leaders of the People’s Republic of China has a direct impact on the economy, as there will be determined which parts will receive support and which will be subject to greater pressure. The report identifies the country’s future priorities and sets some goals up to 2035. Besides, the Chinese economic line before the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of China, and ways of its possible development, as well as its prospects aft er the meeting of the country’s leadership are considered.
