Abstract

This article deals with the prospects for mutually beneficial economic cooperation in the Far East between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Korea in digital economic development. Given the growing role of the countries of the Asia-Pacific region in the world economy and the expansion of their international cooperation, the key aspects of the foreign policy of the «Russia’s pivot to Asia» and the Korean «New northern policy» are studied. Besides, the article considers possible directions of bilateral cooperation in digital economy in the Far East within the framework of development strategies of both countries, such as the Far Eastern strategy of Russia and «Nine-bridge» Strategy of the Republic of Korea.
