Abstract

Telecommunications industry is currently an engine of the country’s economic development. Development of telecommunications industry promotes formation of business infrastructure, attracts foreign investment, increases employment and facilitates implementation of the latest
technologies in the economy. The article considers the main trends in the global mobile market and its influence on the development of Russia’s mobile industry.
