Abstract

Liberalization of global trade flows and also of foreign investment movement has led to globalization of production and commercial activities of many economic agents, to intensification of formation of multinational corporations, which expanded establishment of their branches in
low-tax countries and territories. At the same time, transnational banks have expanded their operations internationally, through which large amounts of money transfers are carried out. In the article, the processes of establishment of offices and branches of banks in tax shelter countries
for tax minimization are considered. The directions in the international fight against money laundering through transnational banks are outlined.
