Abstract

The article describes the main problem points in investment cooperation between Russia and China (imbalance in value volumes; sectoral, competitive, regional imbalances, as well as imbalances due to geopolitical factors), identified by analyzing empirical data of official statistics on the volume and structure of the movement of foreign direct investment between the studied countries, as well as implemented joint investment projects of the Russian Federation and China within the framework of the work of the Intergovernmental Russian-Chinese Commission on Investment Cooperation (CIC).
