Abstract

The article deals with the WTO member countries innovation policies, focusing on the countries of most interest for the analysis and comparison, in the author's opinion, - Switzerland, USA, Germany, China, India and Russia. The information presented in this article contains both historical aspect of innovation activity in each country, the results of recent years, and the situation 2012. Innovation policies of each state and their impact on the national economy and major industries are also taken into consideration.
