Russia’s trade and economic cooperation with the countries of East Asia

Abstract

In the article, the author analyzes the trends in Russia–East Asia trade and economic cooperation. The analysis of the dynamics and structure of Russia-East Asia trade is presented. The author estimates the price elasticity of export suuply and import demand. The influence of customs duties reduction on Russia-East Asia trade is estimated. It is determined that the growth of Russia-East Asia trade will be generated only by East Asian countries’ imports.
