Abstract

Several approaches to analysis and classification of international negotiations are reviewed in this paper. The main aspects of preparation, conducting and concluding international negotiations are discussed. Characteristics of the effective international negotiators are analyzed as well. The role of the dominating types of cultures in the country of the international negotiator is addressed. The author concludes that one of the key factors that determines negotiation process and its outcomes in negotiation culture. High level of negotiation culture would allow to find a common approach to problem-solving in the multicultural milieu.
