Partly the discussion on trade and sustainable development revolves around the inclusiveness of trade liberalization, including creation of equal opportunities for women. Th e participation of women in trade consultations and negotiations is a key to ensure that women fully benefit from trade, and that their voices and business interests are taken into account.
