Abstract

Regional interdependence, opportunities to deepen economic cooperation and trade and economic relations between Central and South Asia are considered; options of infrastructure projects and creation of new transport corridors with access to the Indian Ocean are proposed. Models of mutually beneficial cooperation of these macroregions in the transport and logistics, energy, trade, production, and investment areas are justified. The increasing role of the Republic of Uzbekistan in solving key issues of regional security and ensuring peace and stability in Eurasia, including assistance in resolving the situation in Afghanistan, is noted.
