Abstract

Economic cooperation among the BRICS countries is increasingly expanding. The number of member states is growing every year, and the number of states expressing interest in developing cooperation within the framework of BRICS is increasing. One of the most important economic areas for a joint effort of BRICS specialists is currency integration, in particular exploring the possibilities of introducing a new currency in the member states. This move could spur economic growth of the BRICS countries.
