Abstract

The relatively high GDP growth rates (compared to the world average and other Asian countries), combined with the continued policy of industrialization and urbanization, make India one of the most attractive commodity markets.
The country requires fossil resources, primarily oil and gas, and the key areas for the development of the national economy include oil and gas production and processing industries. The fuel and energy complex of India, especially its oil market will be considered below.
