Impact of Digitalization on Chad’s Economy

This article examines the impact of digitalization on economic processes in the Republic of Chad. In the era of global digital transformation, the country faces numerous challenges related to the adoption of information technologies and their integration into the economy. The primary goal of the study is to assess the current level of digitalization in Chad, identify key obstacles to the development of the digital economy, and propose measures to accelerate this process. The article delves into issues such as the state of digital infrastructure, the availability of digital services, and the impact of digitalization on key economic sectors, including agriculture, education, and healthcare. Special attention is given to the role of government policy and international support in advancing digital initiatives. The findings indicate that, despite the low level of digitalization, Chad has significant potential for leveraging digital technologies to achieve sustainable economic development. The article is unique in its detailed analysis of digital transformation, taking into account the specific context of Chad, which sets it apart from other studies on digitalization in developing countries.
