Abstract

The analysis of Turkey’s S&T potential indicates that there are favourable prospects for Russia in promoting cooperation in science, technology and innovation. Turkey has good science and technology capabilities and its transition towards scientific and technological innovation path has been gaining momentum. The article analyzes the current state and prospects for technological and innovation cooperation between Russia and Turkey in the key areas of cooperation – nuclear technology, renewable energy, space exploration, information and digital technologies. It is concluded that despite a number of constraining factors Turkey will remain one of the leading Russian technological partners in the foreseeable future.
