Abstract

E-commerce, the purchase and sale of goods and services over the Internet, has become a key driver of modern commerce. It has changed consumer behavior, business models, and global markets by offering unprecedented convenience and accessibility. However, the evolution of e-commerce is closely intertwined with the broader phenomenon of digital transformation. Digital transformation refers to the integration of digital technologies into various aspects of business operations and strategies, leading to fundamental changes in how organizations operate and create value. It involves rethinking processes, introducing innovative technologies and incentives. The topic of e-commerce and digital transformation is of paramount importance in the modern business landscape. As technology permeates all aspects of trade, businesses have to navigate an environment where traditional models are rapidly evolving. E-commerce, made possible by digital transformation, has disrupted traditional retail paradigms by changing the way we buy and sell.
