Abstract

The paper is devoted to the study of technological sovereignty which is a necessary condition for ensuring national security, a way to achieve consistently high indicators of economic development and the basis for foreign economic cooperation under geopolitical tensions. The experience of achieving and maintaining technological sovereignty in USA, China, South Korea and European countries is examined. Particular attention is paid to comparing their experience with Russian practice. The authors identify Russia’s basic problems of ensuring technological sovereignty and develop some recommendations for their elimination.
