Abstract

The article examines the features and key stages of development of international economic relations in recent years. The theoretical provisions of foreign and Russian researchers are presented, proving the transition of the world economy from globalization to deglobalization. The author considers bilateral economic cooperation as the most promising and popular form of cooperation between states at the present stage. Its main advantages are identified, and its principles are formulated. Furthermore, the author draws an analogy with the concept of “you-dual”, originating in socionics, which reflects, in the author’s opinion, the key provisions of bilateral economic relations. Hence, the author concludes that with the current development of the world economic system, it is reasonable to talk about the dualization of economic relations. It implies not just a shift in emphasis to bilateral interaction, but is an independent concept, within the framework of which certain economic requirements are imposed on the partner.
