Abstract

The Middle East and Latin America are among the key players in the changing world order. Despite the geographical location and other difficulties indicated in the SWOT analysis conducted by the authors, this cooperation seems to be mutually beneficial and promising. The article presents the dynamics of trade turnover between Iran and Turkey with their main trading partners in Latin America, and also highlights the commodity content of exports and imports. The authors pay special attention to investment cooperation from the Middle East countries directed to Latin American countries.
